Mike Plas is multi-instrumentalist composer/producer who began playing guitar at age four. At age five he began playing shows and added piano to his repertoire. By age 13, he was performing regularly with his father's trio (Frank Plas, who was recently inducted into the Kansas Music Hall of Fame) in addition to playing and singing in his own bands.

After moving to Los Angeles in 1993, he began working at Universal Music during they day and wrote and recorded music for his band at night. While continuing to compose and produce modern rock songs during this period, he began to turn his attention to film and television. After scoring two short movies, it was clear that this was his area to shine.

Having created a recording studio in his Hollywood Hills home, he is ready to compose and score music for projects ranging from television programs to feature films to commercial advertising. His musical compositions include techno, "Vegas" style R&B, thriller/horror, big-budget action as well as modern and retro rock.
